Outlook Express import ??

I copied my Outlook Express storage folder to a folder on a DVD.
Reformatted Hard drive and re-installed XP PRO operating system.

Setup Outlook express. Works OK - I can send and receive messages. When I went to import the files from the DVD I got an error message that no files could be found in this folder. I can view the files with .dbx extension.

I then copied the files into the Outlook Express store folder.
I can not import from there either - "no messages found".

Please help.

Hmmm-on the surface, not good.

Burning CDs\DVD's basically scares the shit out of me....seen too many that were "bad" writes & not readable, but that doesn't seem to make sense if you were able to copy the files to your local drive.
